Rooted in a small-town in Southern Saskatchewan, I’m an outgoing farm girl with a deep love for laughter, adventure, travel, and family. I speak quickly, laugh loudly (occasionally with a snort), and believe joy is meant to be shared!
I live on an acreage with my husband, Kurtis, and our daughter. Becoming a mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life. It’s deepened the way I see the world, slowed me down in the most beautiful way, and shaped how I approach both life and photography. When summer arrives and the work is done, we love heading out camping. In the winter, we like to sneak away somewhere warm.
Photography has always been part of my story. As a little girl, I was the one behind the camera — snapping photos with my film and Polaroid cameras of my siblings doing ridiculous stunts and of our pets. About sixteen years ago, I realized just how deeply photography had been woven into my life and how passionate I truly was about it.
After navigating one of the most difficult chapters of my life — the loss of my husband, Eric — photography became a place of refuge. Through it, I found healing, purpose, and a renewed sense of clarity. Capturing meaningful moments isn’t just what I do; it’s what I’m called to do. It fills my soul in a way nothing else ever has.
Today, I’m incredibly grateful to call photography my full-time career — something I’ve been blessed to do since 2015. I don’t take it lightly that I get to preserve love, connection, and once-in-a-lifetime moments for others. It’s an honor I cherish every single day.
