The day was so warm for a fall wedding and the leaves were still holding on. I found the most perfect location and I was beyond excited when the bride said that them and their families were up for walking anywhere! I love it when people are up for going on a little adventure 😉

Before the reception I snuck the newlyweds out for some different type of sunset photos & I’m so obsessed with the series of those! I wish IG would let me share more then ten photos..but thats maybe a good thing as I would then post all their images 😅😂

I think this winter I need to try sharing more images from each wedding as there is so many beautiful in between moments & details😍

A glimpse into the sunflower sessions 🌻

My parents let me use their garden this year for the sunflower patch. Dad put them in with an old John Deere double disk press drill. The rain hit their farm at just the right time this spring which created a beautiful patch for this years sessions.

This session took place on a sunny afternoon. When the sun is high in the sky its all about choosing a location based on the lighting for that time of day. But after all the years of shooting I can handle the challenge😉

I photographed their engagement session (the day my niece was born, so an extra special day!), their epic wedding in Mexico, and then maternity photos in the sunflower patch. As of most recently, photographing them as a little family!

I loved getting to watch them with their little girl, it melted my heart. Honestly, its hard to explain in words how they are as parents... its how they interact and go about being parents. It isn’t just a specific word to explain it- carefree would maybe be one way to explain it. I just know I want to be a parent like them one day.

I’m truly honored to have been chosen as their photographer over and over to capture so many of their big moments in life. 🥺♥️ I know I probably say that a lot, but I’m just always super thankful for all my clients and always so excited for every shoot I get to do for anyone!!
